Amrutha Venkatesh is a popular Carnatic vocalist, from Bangalore. She started learning music from the age of 4 under M.T.

Selvanarayana and gave her first music recital at the age of 6. She also learnt music from Charumathi Ramachandran and Veena from Smt. Suma Sudhindra. Soon, her performance was well appreciated and took mentorship from late S.V.

Krishnan. Under his tutelage, Amrutha performed several concerts in Nada Inbam with good reviews.
